Picture of Queen Mary Liner

The Queen Mary is an enormous ocean liner, much bigger than the QE2 or the Titanic. She used to be owned and operated by Cunard but is now retired and permanently moored at Long Beach, California, USA.

This page first appeared Oct 7 1995.

The page was updated for the last time on February 21, 2000.

This page is a tribute to the now defunct enthusiasts' club "Queen Mary Foundation", dissolved because of a lawsuit in Feb 2000. The page is preserved as a tribute to that organization, which tried for 10 years to get a better deal for the Queen Mary.

This page will not be updated in future, but is preserved "pretty much as it was" when the lawsuit shut it down by removing its domain name. So many people have requested it be put back on the net that I have finally given in.

I encourage you to visit the ship today if you can and their official website is www.queenmary.com
